Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolSaif Lakhani is a pragmatic software engineer with 9 years of experience building end-to-end IoT systems, BLE mesh networks, and consumer-facing apps, currently streamlining smart device setup at Amazon’s Frustration-Free Setup team. He combines embedded development, tinyML/RSSI classification, and augmented reality expertise—work that has powered large-scale asset tracking deployments and won multiple hackathons. Saif’s background spans production Python/Java systems, React frontends, and low-power edge solutions that have driven measurable productivity gains for industrial customers. A UC Davis MS graduate and Google-certified developer, he pairs academic rigor with hands-on product launches (including a mall navigation rollout with 10,000+ installs). Outside engineering he’s a Formula One aficionado who describes his code with a sense of humor—“RomComs, Cheesecake, and a little bit of Sidney Sheldon.”
