Senior🎓
Top SchoolSam Bantner is a Senior IoT Architect with 11 years of experience building end-to-end connected systems and cloud-native architectures, currently shaping IoT strategy and adoption at AWS. He combines deep hands-on engineering—from embedded Linux and Node.js on devices to AWS IoT Core, Lambda, API Gateway and analytics—with product and manufacturing experience that scaled an LED priceline from prototype to mass production. Sam has led mobile and big-data startups, run mobile engineering for a national publisher, and built analytics platforms that bridge device diagnostics and enterprise POS systems. Known for translating complex edge constraints into deployable, low-configuration solutions, he also coaches customers and internal teams through training, whitepapers, and architecture best practices. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he’s focused on growing the region into a top U.S. engineering hub while remaining a pragmatic “engineer of things” who cares about manufacturability and operational simplicity.
