Top SchoolSam Bolgert is a hands-on engineering leader and player-coach with 14 years of experience building backend, infrastructure, and applied AI systems from startup CTO roles to leadership at Mindbloom. Based in Milwaukee, he combines practical Python fluency and lifelong learning with a track record of scaling teams and systems across San Francisco and Midwest markets. He has repeatedly moved between individual contribution and management—founding a company while leading engineering at Telemetry and HouseCanary—bringing both strategic architecture and day-to-day shipping discipline. Sam’s strengths include productionizing ML-driven features and running resilient infrastructure for consumer-facing products. Colleagues describe him as an operator who still writes production code and mentors engineers through technical roadmaps and execution.
