Top SchoolSam Edelstein is a data and analytics leader with 11 years of experience building data strategy, governance, and modern cloud architectures to drive decision-making across public and private sectors. As VP, Data & Analytics at Insight Partners he built centralized data lakes, repeatable ingestion pipelines, and a service model that shifted teams from full-service to self-service, boosting dashboard adoption over 200% weekly. His background as Syracuse’s first Chief Data Officer produced pragmatic city-wide analytics—open data policy, performance dashboards, and models that saved millions by prioritizing infrastructure work. An adjunct professor and hands-on technologist, he blends enterprise tooling (Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, Looker) with training and evangelism to democratize data. Based in Syracuse, Sam pairs policy and public-sector experience with product-focused execution, often surfacing high-impact, low-cost analytics solutions that aren’t immediately obvious.
