Top SchoolSamir Marin is an experienced infra/cloud engineer based in Vancouver with 11 years building and operating production systems across startups and scale-ups. He focuses on Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform and CI/CD, and pairs that infrastructure expertise with hands-on software development in Go, Python and React. Samir has run EKS fleets, service mesh deployments and developer tooling at companies like Skillz and 1047 Games while owning on-call responsibilities for critical backend services. His background in data engineering and Scala ETL work at Visier gives him a strong operational view of data pipelines as well as systems reliability. Pragmatic and multidisciplinary, he often bridges developer productivity gaps by building internal tools and automations that remove manual toil.
