Summary
🤩
RockstarSamuel De Moura is a versatile software engineer and consultant with nine years of experience building systems that span embedded firmware, full-stack web backends, ML/AI pipelines, and multimedia frameworks. Comfortable from low-level C/C++ integrations to Rails and Node/Python services, he routinely bridges product needs and infrastructure—deploying and operating production servers, Kubernetes, and CI pipelines. He has shipped features and fixes in open-source projects like WebKit, GStreamer and OpenSSL, and implemented platform integrations for PKCS#12, smart cards and OS crypto APIs in security-sensitive contexts. At clients he combines hands-on refactors and migrations with rapid prototyping to reduce technical debt and accelerate delivery, and he’s fluent in both Portuguese and English. Notably, his work at a university lab automated ML data pipelines for an accessible Portuguese–Libras translator that powers government-facing tools, showing a blend of social impact and systems engineering.
