Summary
👤
SeniorSangmin Oh is an experienced autonomous driving software leader and engineer with nine years in industry and a Ph.D. in computer science, currently directing multi-sensor perception efforts at NVIDIA Drive from Seoul. He combines deep research credentials—30+ peer-reviewed publications and DARPA/IARPA-funded projects—with hands-on product delivery, having architected and shipped perception stacks for ADAS and autonomous platforms showcased at CES. Sangmin excels at fusing camera, lidar, radar and ultrasonic data for robust dynamic/static object and free-space understanding under noisy, real-world conditions, and he drives performance optimization and validation on embedded automotive platforms. He also builds high-performing teams and engineering processes, grounding research insights into production-grade, safety-conscious systems (ISO 26262 experience). A less obvious asset: his background spans wearable and robotic sensing to large-scale multimedia retrieval, giving him a broad view of perception problems and practical solutions across domains.
