Top SchoolSara Thomas is a Senior Technical Writer with five years of focused experience creating high-impact documentation for healthcare tech and enterprise software, currently shaping networking and network observability content for Red Hat OpenShift. She translates complex platform and observability concepts into clear, actionable guidance that empowers users to deploy and troubleshoot at scale, drawing on prior work at SAS where she led documentation for core programming guides and cloud analytics. A lifelong learner with formal training in technical communication, she combines pedagogical instincts from classroom teaching and training roles with practical product empathy gained managing scribe teams and reducing support volume. Sara’s writing is user-centered—she measures success by whether documentation lets someone do their job faster or safer—and she has a track record of improving onboarding and reducing support friction. Based in Raleigh, NC, she brings both standards-driven process experience (including open-source doc standards on GitLab) and hands-on content design for novice and expert audiences. An underappreciated strength is her legal-research background, which sharpens her ability to analyze requirements and craft precise, auditable documentation.
