Top SchoolSasank Pagolu is a Senior Software Engineer based in San Francisco with eight years of experience building large-scale data and observability platforms. Currently contributing to Apple's data platform, he previously architected high-throughput monitoring systems at Twitter that handled billions of metrics per minute and reduced indexing latency from 30 minutes to 10 seconds. He combines deep distributed-systems expertise with practical ML and NLP interests, and has a track record of shipping reliable, zero-downtime migrations and improving service reliability to 99.99%. His background includes systems work from vehicle safety stacks at Qualcomm to concurrency research in STM, reflecting a strong foundation in low-level performance engineering. A UCLA MS and IIT Bhubaneswar alumnus with top grades, he routinely explores new technologies and customer-driven observability requirements. Notably, he led efforts to extend Prometheus-style metrics support and implemented structured querying for histogram metrics in production.
