Top SchoolSayaka Ono is a fullstack developer based in Vancouver with 8 years of experience building data-driven web applications and internal tools. She combines front-end expertise in React/Redux with backend skills in Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB to deliver performant, production-ready features and visualizations. At Ecoation and Rivian she translated AI and log data into interactive heatmaps, 360° viewers and charting tools that helped teams spot insights quickly, and she continues that work at UBC. Known for improving UI performance at scale (e.g., optimizing canvas-heavy components and Apollo caching) she bridges data science and engineering to make complex datasets accessible. Her portfolio and GitHub showcase practical projects and a consistent focus on usability and observability beyond typical feature work.
