Summary
👤
SeniorScott Beck is a pragmatic technology consultant with 12 years of experience building and operating web applications and infrastructure on Unix/Linux platforms. He blends hands-on full-stack development (Node.js, React, TypeScript, Perl, C/C++) with systems work—server management, network programming, and on-prem/cloud security—to deliver performant, cost-efficient solutions. Scott has modernized legacy stacks, led VM and identity migrations, and built a headless CMS with Next.js, Sanity, and Algolia to streamline content operations. His background running large-scale hosting fleets and production environments gives him a strong operational mindset that reduces downtime and recurring costs. Based in Anderson, SC, he pairs deep technical breadth with practical project management and training experience, often surfacing simple infrastructure fixes that yield outsized savings.
