Top SchoolSean Gottschalk is a full-stack software engineer with five years of professional experience and a decade-plus career history building and leading cross-functional teams from Disney to Stripe. He designs and ships maintainable Java-based REST APIs and modern Node/JS frontends, while also contributing to infrastructure as code (Terraform) during cloud migrations. As a former tech lead he drove a major customer-facing UI revamp and helped bridge technical direction with business goals, combining hands-on coding with mentorship and team leadership. He has a track record of making complex systems more configurable and automating production workflows—skills honed while owning an attribution product and building automation frameworks early in his career. Based in Seattle and grounded in a CS and Mathematics background from the University of Washington, he favors clean, pragmatic engineering that enables fast iteration and scalable product launches.
