Top SchoolSebastián Álvarez is a Senior Software Development Engineer with 13 years of experience building scalable, customer-facing cloud services, most recently focused on GenAI products and developer APIs. At AWS he co-designed and shipped features for Amazon Bedrock IDE and Knowledge Bases—leading cross-functional efforts from API design to GA and improving operational readiness and on-call reliability. His background spans backend systems for Amazon retail, low-code platform performance and storage migrations at Honeycode, and high-performance metrology software at ASML, giving him a rare blend of large-scale cloud, AI, and embedded systems experience. Now at Workday he’s applying that AI-native document intelligence expertise to Evisort, continuing to bridge applied ML with production engineering. He holds advanced degrees in computer science and systems engineering and is known for translating complex architectural problems into elegant, operationally resilient solutions. Colleagues value his pragmatic design sense and consistent focus on measurable customer impact beyond just feature delivery.
