Top SchoolSebastian Carbonero is a systems software engineer with eight years of experience building low-level infrastructure for embedded and automotive platforms, currently advancing NvStreams and hypervisor tooling at NVIDIA. A UC Santa Cruz computer science graduate and former startup co-founder, he blends hands-on SDK and driver development with automation to streamline cross-process data streaming for autonomous systems. His background includes AR perception work at Google where he built a convex decomposition library and automated large-scale fit simulations, showing a knack for applying physics engines and data pipelines to practical problems. Equally comfortable shipping kernel-adjacent drivers and developer-facing tools, he brings startup agility together with production reliability in mission-critical environments. Based in the San Diego area, he often surfaces non-obvious improvements by automating repetitive workflows and building testing utilities that ease multi-version interoperability.
