Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastian De Castelberg is a pragmatic, polyglot software engineer with 16 years of experience building full-stack web applications, streaming services, and infrastructure automation from Zurich. He combines deep hands-on skills across Ruby/Rails, Node.js, Go, Python and embedded Linux with production experience in media streaming, VoIP safety systems, and distributed log/query platforms. As a co-founder and longtime engineer he pairs startup agility with enterprise-grade delivery, most recently contributing to Swisscom and running LaceUp. An autodidact who prefers Vim and Linux, he also coaches teams and architects practical solutions rather than theoretical designs. Outside of code he’s a mountain runner and skier—habits that mirror his endurance for long-lived systems and iterative improvement. Fueled by coffee, he’s known for solving messy integration problems and shipping reliable, maintainable systems.
