Top SchoolSebastian Espindola is a DevOps specialist and backend developer with 17 years of production experience, currently managing Ethereum and L2 node infrastructure and cloud-native stacks at ConsenSys from Buenos Aires. He blends low-level systems expertise—from Solaris and AIX administration to large-scale Kubernetes and EKS deployments—with hands-on backend development in Golang and Ruby, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Pulumi. At IBM he helped run a Ruby on Rails platform for 600,000 daily users, designed HA PostgreSQL clusters with Patroni, and built observability platforms using Prometheus, Thanos/Mimir, Loki and Grafana. He’s equally comfortable doing capacity planning and cost analysis for AWS as he is designing telephony and billing systems from open-source components, reflecting a career that spans telecom, government, and enterprise. Known for pragmatic automation and reliability engineering, he often surfaces subtle system bottlenecks before they become incidents.
