Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastian Gerske is a product-focused technologist and founder with 10+ years building cloud-native and blockchain-enabled systems, currently shaping product and engineering strategy as Product Owner at Volkswagen Financial Services while advising Berlin co-living startup heyroom as an angel investor and technical advisor. He combines hands-on engineering roots—from early fullstack and cloud roles at Volkswagen to founding multiple startups and leading blockchain architecture at Keyko—with product leadership that bridges roadmap, architecture, and go-to-market connections. A language-agnostic developer and cloud evangelist who’s obsessed with new tech (notably blockchain and metaverse tooling), he frequently moves between founding teams and corporate innovation units to ship pragmatic, data-driven solutions. Based in the Hannover-Braunschweig region, Sebastian is as comfortable mentoring startups on growth and investor introductions as he is mentoring engineering teams through architectural trade-offs. An extroverted nerd and speaker by nature, he brings entrepreneurial grit and an unusual combination of deep technical craft plus investor-level strategic perspective.
