Senior🎓
Top SchoolSebastian Hooker is a founder and cloud-native ecommerce technologist with nine years of experience building AI-powered product discovery for major retailers. After roles as a Senior Customer Engineer at Google Cloud and Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, he co-founded Nimstrata to make Vertex AI Search for Commerce affordable and turnkey for Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud merchants. He’s driven implementations for brands like Lord & Taylor and Cotopaxi, eliminating high up-front costs and operational friction for AI search. Based in Chicago, he pairs an MBA from NYU Stern with hands-on engineering and go-to-market experience as a Director of Ecommerce. Less obvious: his career path started in web design and high-volume ecommerce operations, giving him a rare combination of UX, growth, and cloud architecture instincts. He focuses on practical, revenue-driving AI deployments rather than bleeding-edge proofs of concept.
