Top SchoolSébastien Canet is an experienced STEM teacher and educator-technologist based in Nantes with over a decade of practice designing hands-on workshops and curricula from middle school to BTS levels. He develops and maintains open-source, multilingual tools (notably Blockly@rduino) that simplify Arduino and Raspberry Pi programming for learners of all ages, blending ergonomics with low-cost hardware. As an academic trainer and webmestre, he shapes pedagogical strategy, trains trainers, and curates digital resources for his academy, ensuring durable, relevant solutions. He co-leads community projects like LibrEduc to promote emancipatory, libre education materials and mutualized good practices. Known for making complex systems approachable, he often bridges classroom instruction, makerspace activities and software development to spark creativity and autonomy. An unusual strength: he pairs a mechanical engineering background with long-term pedagogical design, enabling practical, production-ready learning resources.
