Summary
👤
SeniorSébastien Dumont is a self-taught WordPress developer with 11+ years of experience building deeply customizable yet user-friendly solutions, increasingly focused on headless eCommerce with WooCommerce. He founded CoCart Headless and develops the CoCart plugin, a REST API collection that enables fast, framework-agnostic headless stores and is installed on over 1,700 stores with 64,000+ downloads. His background in freelancing eCommerce projects taught him practical product instincts—he’s launched and learned from multiple experiments, which now inform a pragmatic approach to product-market fit. Recently he partnered with Perfect to deliver a single-step customizable headless checkout competing with Bolt, Rally and Shopify while integrating with Stripe, Square and PayPal. Based in the UK, Sébastien combines hands-on plugin engineering with entrepreneurial drive to simplify complex headless workflows for developers.
