Top SchoolSentayhu Ali is a Full Stack Engineer with roughly a decade of software development experience, currently building and scaling content and real-time messaging systems at the Financial Times. He designs end-to-end features across Node.js and React stacks and operates production services using AWS, Fastly, Redis, DynamoDB/VoltDB and containerized tooling to ensure reliability and performance. His work uniquely blends newsroom workflows and data-driven engagement: he implements real-time onsite messaging driven by data science models to re-engage readers and manage subscription behavior. Prior roles span backend systems, database application development, and telecom core network engineering, giving him a rare mix of web, systems and network-level troubleshooting expertise. Comfortable in Agile teams, TDD and CI/CD practices, he also mentors cross-functional partners including UX, editorial desks and stakeholders. Based in Ealing, he brings practical product sensibility to technically complex problems, often translating stakeholder needs into robust, observable systems.
