Top SchoolSergei Shmakov is a Senior Frontend Engineer with 13 years of software experience and seven focused on building scalable, high-performance TypeScript and React applications. At Kontur he accelerated cross-service feature delivery, re-architected form engines to improve large-form INP by 100x, and created reusable domain abstractions that boosted code reuse to 80%. He combines hands-on implementation—shipping a two-week Airbnb integration and an embeddable widget that doubled sub-product sales—with platform-level improvements like workspace migration and automated linting that raised team velocity. A former tech co-founder, Sergei also built analytics and ad integrations for lead-generation products, bringing product sensibility to engineering decisions. Based in Yekaterinburg, he is known for pragmatic automation, mentoring engineers, and translating complex domain workflows into reusable frontend primitives.
