Summary
👤
SeniorSergey Baev is a seasoned full-stack Web Developer and DevOps engineer with 15 years of commercial experience, specializing in Ruby on Rails, system integration, and high-load backend architecture. As a freelance architect and engineer he has led end-to-end projects—from mobile APIs and CMS to microservices and tokenomics design for startups like ParkApp—while integrating complex external services such as payment gateways, mapping providers, and logistics platforms. He prefers a top-down approach, values clear specifications and elegant designs, and excels at pragmatic automation and performance tuning across PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Docker, and AWS. Comfortable in both startup and government-grade integrations, Sergey has a track record of rapid prototyping, robust integrations (SOAP, SAML, OAuth), and delivering production-ready systems on Upwork since 2016. Based in Moscow, he is open to full-time remote contracts and targets senior roles focused on evolving into a high-load server-side architect.
