Summary

Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolSergi Ferrer is a Staff CloudOps Engineer based in Barcelona with 12+ years of progressive infrastructure and operations experience and four years focused on cloud-native DevOps roles. He designs and operates AWS-based platforms using Terraform, EKS, Helm/Kustomize and a CI/CD toolchain that spans Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline and ArgoCD, with strong observability via Datadog. At UserTesting (and previously UserZoom) he moved from hands-on DevOps to lead and staff-level responsibilities, standardizing deployments and scaling containerized services. His background in enterprise and service-provider environments (Claranet, wefox) gives him deep operational discipline across Windows, Linux, networking and monitoring stacks. Colleagues would note his knack for translating legacy operational practices into automated, auditable IaC workflows while keeping incident response pragmatic. Fluent in both Spanish/Catalan workplace contexts and modern cloud tooling, he blends long-term systems knowledge with modern platform engineering.
