Top SchoolSergio Compean is a pragmatic full stack software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building and modernizing web applications across Python/Django, Laravel, ColdFusion and JavaScript ecosystems. Currently at DirectEmployers he focuses on backend HR/OFCCP compliance systems while contributing to in-house frontend components, blending domain-sensitive development with UI support. He has delivered end-to-end solutions—PDF contract builders, call transcription and metrics dashboards, custom CRMs with Asterisk telephony integrations—and has maintained servers and introduced testing and version-control practices. Known for mentoring colleagues and modernizing legacy apps, he pairs practical problem solving with a curiosity-driven “I make stuff” ethos rooted in an Informatics degree from Indiana University Kokomo.
