Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolShane Stecker is a Cloud System Engineer with over 20 years in tech and 11 years focused on cloud, DevOps, and data engineering across fast-moving IPO/pre-IPO and government/military environments. He specializes in automation, scripting (Python, shell, Perl, Go), data transformation/migration, and building resilient data pipelines at scale—most recently supporting Maven Central’s pipelines that serve millions of developers. Comfortable from bare metal Solaris to modern Kubernetes and AWS/GCP services, he blends hands-on systems administration with infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD automation. Known as a patient but relentless tinkerer, he routinely turns complex operational challenges into repeatable automated solutions and has led large migrations to cloud platforms. Based in Saint Augustine, FL, Shane pairs deep troubleshooting instincts and resourcefulness with experience in security-conscious, compliance-heavy environments.
