Top SchoolShanti Mansel is a Senior iOS Software Engineer based in San Francisco with 14 years of professional experience and over a decade focused on iOS app design and delivery. She has shipped consumer and enterprise features across music, finance, home automation, and productivity domains, contributing to platforms at Vevo, Apple (HomeKit), and numerous indie projects through her firm waveOcean. Technically fluent in Swift and Objective-C, she has built SDKs, real-time/live engagement systems, multimedia features, and even game UIs for iOS/tvOS with an emphasis on testing, CI, and scalable architectures. Her background in networking and systems engineering (Juniper, Calix, early telecom roles) informs a pragmatic approach to performance and protocol-driven problems that most mobile engineers don’t often bring. Outside of code she balances endurance road cycling, hiking, guitar and mindfulness practice—hobbies that mirror her disciplined, creative approach to product design.
