Top SchoolShaojun Zhao is a Co-Founder and CTO with 11 years of industry experience building production-grade deep learning and NLP systems, with a PhD in AI from the University of Rochester. He has led high-impact ML initiatives at eBay, Amazon, and Facebook—shipping AIGC for ad banners, creating the evergreen coupon model that outperformed business-as-usual, and inventing a patented large-scale product classification algorithm at Amazon. Comfortable shifting between research and engineering, he has driven revenue-facing improvements (e.g., turning ad ROI positive and optimizing PLA bids) as well as foundational NLP advances dating back to work that improved Google Translate. Now in stealth mode, he combines applied LLM expertise with hands-on product delivery, uniquely blending academic rigor, patent-backed innovation, and measurable business outcomes.
