Top SchoolSharon Smith is a veteran system engineer with over 16 years of hands-on experience designing, supporting, and migrating complex Windows and Exchange environments across enterprise and cloud platforms. She has deep expertise in Active Directory, Exchange/O365 migrations, VoIP/telecom systems (ShoreTel, Nortel, Mitel), and hybrid virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure), and frequently bridges technical and non-technical teams to deliver practical operational solutions. Her recent roles include Azure automation and monitoring at Microsoft and O365 Exchange migration work for financial services, underscoring strong incident resolution and automation troubleshooting skills. Known for documenting secure server implementations and staying current with emerging threats, she pairs technical rigor with a calm, team-oriented leadership style and an ability to simplify IT for non-computer groups. A pragmatic problem-solver, she also brings AS400 and Citrix support experience—an unusual cross-section that helps her navigate legacy-to-cloud transitions effectively.
