Top SchoolShaw Young is a Lead Software Engineer based in Chichester with over 10 years’ experience building and modernising web platforms across startups and enterprise teams. He combines full-stack competence—from Angular and React front-ends to .NET Core, Azure/AWS, Postgres and SQL Server backends—with proven delivery skills in refactoring monoliths into microservices and driving performance optimisations. Shaw has repeatedly led teams and technical migrations (source control, CI/CD, DB platforms) and designed OLAP schemas, CI pipelines and automated deployment processes that reduced release friction. He’s comfortable in both hands-on coding and architectural leadership, having shipped consumer-facing apps, mobile audio-fingerprinting features and analytics/insights services at scale. A continual learner who speaks at conferences and runs load tests and migration scripts himself, he brings a pragmatic blend of engineering craft and operational rigour.
