Top SchoolShekhar Sorot is a product-focused cloud architect and senior product manager with over a decade of experience designing, deploying, and running large-scale HPC and hybrid Azure environments, including sensitive SAP landscapes. At Microsoft he blends hands-on systems engineering, identity and storage expertise, and partner-facing solution delivery to simplify migrations and optimize enterprise performance. His background spans high-performance computing for superclusters, datacenter operations, and automation using PowerShell, Python, C/C++ and now Rust, giving him rare depth across infrastructure, tooling and product. Outside work he explores machine learning, embedded IoT, robotics and 3D manufacturing, and applies practical maker skills—CNC machining and motorcycle mechanics—to prototype sustainable, impact-driven solutions. Known for designing systems that free people to focus on what matters, he brings a builder’s curiosity and an emphasis on waste reduction to product strategy.
