Top SchoolShiv Roychowdhury is a software engineer with a decade of experience building backend systems and performance-sensitive analytics at Google, combining a strong foundation in algorithms and data structures with pragmatic product focus. He previously led backend efforts at Cornell App Development, shipping a production routing service and automating deployments with Ansible and Docker Swarm to eliminate unreliable provisioning. Comfortable across startups and large organizations, he has interned at Microsoft and Intentional, where he focused on UI/UX components and adaptive visualization algorithms for dense label layouts. Shiv favors optimizing core logic and system performance, and enjoys collaborating on teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused software. Based in San Francisco, he pairs academic curiosity with hands-on operational tooling experience—often turning research-minded ideas into deployable services. Despite a concise public footprint ("Mostly harmless" on GitHub), his track record shows meaningful product impact from prototype to production.
