Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolShivam Nagpal is a backend and distributed systems engineer with 9 years of experience building high-throughput, cost-efficient data pipelines and resilient services. Currently an SDE-3 at Inflection.io, he built a generic distributed scheduler serving 6,000+ RPS with sub-second callbacks, a 10k events/sec ingestion pipeline that cut monthly costs by ~92%, and a Salesforce sync that handles millions of rows daily. His background spans performance-sensitive edge work at Amazon (DashCart CPU-constrained search/navigation and "DashCart in the Cloud") to product-focused platforms at Embibe and HashedIn, where he shipped multi-channel campaign tooling and high-availability auth/reward systems. He combines systems-thinking—profiling and eliminating bottlenecks—to achieve 10x throughput improvements with pragmatic operational ownership and zero-downtime migrations. Based in Bengaluru, Shivam brings a blend of hands-on engineering, cost-conscious architecture, and a knack for turning complex integrations into reliable, observable production systems.
