Senior🎓
Top SchoolShuang Weng is a seasoned software engineer with 10 years of experience building large-scale backend and full-stack systems, now at Google after a multi-year tenure on Amazon’s Ads teams. He specializes in C++, Java, MySQL and cloud-native services, driving production migrations, API reliability improvements, and ML-informed optimization workflows that improved availability and reduced errors at billion-request scale. At Amazon he led E2E designs that cut redundant work by 85%, reduced API 500s by 97%, and implemented throttle policies that restored service fairness for major integrators. Comfortable across serverless, distributed data processing (EMR/Spark/DynamoDB) and frontend tooling, he pairs strong CS fundamentals with clear logical thinking and cross-team collaboration. A Carnegie Mellon MS graduate based in Seattle, he brings a pragmatic balance of product focus and engineering rigor—often surfacing elegant, data-driven fixes for ambiguous system problems.
