Top SchoolShubhra Ganguly is a software engineer with a decade of experience building production systems and ML research tooling, currently contributing to LiveKit in San Francisco. A UC Berkeley EECS honors graduate and former Marine Corps electrical engineer, she blends disciplined systems thinking with applied machine learning from roles at Databricks, Berkeley AI Research, and Berkeley Lab. As co-founder of Refractive (backed by Neo), she has hands-on startup experience turning research into product-grade AI services. Her background spans cloud-scale engineering, real-time systems, and ML research—making her adept at bridging prototypes to reliable deployments. Unusually, she pairs military-trained hardware expertise with academic ML research, enabling pragmatic solutions across edge and cloud contexts.
