Senior🎓
Top SchoolSid De Koning is an experienced product-focused technologist and online marketeer based in Amsterdam, with 15+ years of shipping software, apps and marketing-led experiences for brands like Disney, Unilever, Heineken and MTV. He blends hands-on Swift iOS/macOS development (since the early betas) with copywriting, UX design and growth strategy, often acting as the bridge between founders, designers and engineering teams. As a founder and community builder he co-created Swift Island (a sold-out, award-winning conference) and runs platforms like Aho Broeder aimed at social impact, showing he ships both commercial products and mission-driven projects. He has authored an O’Reilly technical book that sold 3,000+ copies and built internal apprenticeship programs to rapidly upskill junior engineers at large companies. Comfortable moving between code, content and comms, Sid’s strength is taking ambiguous ideas to production while leaving systems and teams stronger than he found them. He favors pragmatic, cross-disciplinary solutions—starting things, fixing what’s broken and scaling what works.
