Top SchoolSiddartha Pothapragada is a seasoned software engineer with 13 years of experience building low-level systems and consumer-facing platform features, currently contributing to PyTorch Edge and XR runtime work at Meta in Mountain View. He has led technical efforts across AR/VR and embedded Android ecosystems—from architecting session management for Magic Leap’s spatial meetings to owning Portal browser and AOSP framework services at Reality Labs. His background spans telephony, NFC secure element stacks, and high-performance mobile backends, reflecting deep expertise in platform internals and systems integration. Known for turning early prototypes into production systems, he blends hands-on implementation with SDK and framework design to enable first-party components. An uncommon thread in his career is consistent work on real-time, connectivity-driven experiences (from earthquake early warning prototypes to copresence in AR), highlighting a focus on resilient, low-latency systems.
