Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolSiddharth Mitra is a Principal Engineer with 16 years of experience building and scaling web platforms, currently responsible for the Paylocity Airbase finance product and its platform-level reliability, security, and developer productivity post-acquisition. He blends deep backend expertise—Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch—with hands-on DevOps and CI/CD leadership to run hundreds of millions of workflows and billions of events monthly. As a serial founder and early technical hire, he has repeatedly turned ideas into shipped products for startups and enterprise clients, having managed parallel projects at his agency Cloudshuffle and helped launch Airbase from closed beta. He’s pragmatic about buy vs. build decisions, fights complexity with architectural lints and typing/testing culture, and mentors engineers across the ladder. Based in Chile with an IIT Delhi M.Tech, Siddharth pairs data-science tooling familiarity (Spark, scikit-learn, pandas) and search/geospatial know-how with a knack for improving developer workflow and system maintainability.
