A co-author of Building AI Intensive Python Applications and a MongoDB Master nominee since 2015, he combines deep hands-on engineering—sample apps in JavaScript, .NET, and Python for real-time gaming use cases—with strategic patterns like polyglot persistence, data mesh, and hybrid cloud. Sig evangelizes practical AI at conferences such as GDC, QCon, and re:Invent, and has pioneered integrations using Atlas Vector Search with Anyscale, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock and OpenAI. Known for his Woo and Maximizer strengths, he thrives on building connections, coaching presenters, and being a “customer of his customers” to shape scalable, outcome-driven solutions. Based in California and active in media, gaming, and startup ecosystems, he blends veteran architectural judgment with a continual curiosity that started programming on a monochrome x286 at 14.
