Top SchoolSigvald Marholm is a computational scientist and scientific researcher with 11 years' experience applying finite element, boundary element and reduced-order modelling to complex industrial problems in energy and materials processing. With a PhD in computational plasma physics, he combines deep theoretical insight—e.g., novel findings on Langmuir-driven instabilities—with high-performance implementations in Python, C/C++ and Fortran for supercomputers and in-house simulation software. His work spans magnetohydrodynamics, solidification, crystal pulling and reactor chemistry, delivering models that target lower power use, reduced waste and greener processes for industry partners. Known for meticulous code quality and close customer collaboration, he blends numerical rigor with practical engineering impact. An early electronics and embedded-systems background informs his pragmatic approach to simulation-driven problem solving.
