Senior🎓
Top SchoolSilas De Carvalho is a construction and pavement engineer with eight years of hands-on experience bridging field operations, research, and teaching. With an MS in Pavement Engineering, an MBA in Construction Budgeting, and early electromechanical experience at Petrobras, he combines technical design (AutoCAD, AASHTO/TAC-compliant analysis) with operational control and inventory management. He accelerated data workflows as a graduate researcher—automating WIM sensor analyses in Python and MATLAB to achieve >90% efficiency gains—and translates that analytical rigor into site coordination at Colas Canada. A proven communicator and educator, he has guided students and stakeholders toward sustainable, safety-focused infrastructure solutions and is driven to turn pavement research into practical, low-impact construction innovations.
