Top SchoolSilvia Esparrachiari is a Principal Software Engineer with 11+ years of experience building reliable, large-scale cloud systems and leading cross-functional teams at Google and Amazon. She has driven org-level reliability programs, transformed dependency management across critical services, and served as Uber Tech Lead for GCP’s Cloud Customer Reliability team, where she designed an outage communication platform now used to reduce customer impact. Her work spans full-stack engineering, SRE practices, and product architecture, and includes published research on microservice dependency controls in ACM Queue and Communications of the ACM. Fluent in English and Portuguese, she brings a rare combination of hands-on systems design, program-level influence, and a scientific background from a master’s in computer science and a bachelor’s in molecular science. An understated strength is her track record in gaining initial funding and chartering new teams, turning nascent ideas into sustained, high-impact programs.
