Top SchoolSimon Bisson is a freelance technology writer and journalist with a decade-plus track record translating deep engineering and architecture experience into clear, engaging coverage for enterprise and consumer audiences. With roots as an engineer, developer and CTO, he combines hands-on knowledge of web services, SOA, XML, cloud and mobile with a practiced ability to craft white papers, corporate storytelling and investigative features for outlets like ZDNet, InfoWorld and TechRadar. He regularly authors technical guides and corporate content for major vendors and professional bodies, and has produced practical how‑tos on AWS, SaaS and BYOD for audiences from developers to accountants. Based in London, he still builds prototypes occasionally—bringing an uncommon practitioner’s perspective to journalism—and co-authors a long-running Microsoft-focused column that blends futurist insight with pragmatic developer guidance.
