Top SchoolSimon Fonteneau is a seasoned system and network technician based in Nantes with 11 years of hands-on experience designing, operating and automating IT infrastructures for education and SMB clients. Currently at Tranquil IT Systems, he combines practical network administration with Python scripting to tame flaky systems and automate repeatable fixes—especially in production environments. Trained as a Technicien Supérieur Réseaux Informatique et Télécom, he has a background supporting schools and colleges where resilience, rapid recovery and constrained budgets shaped his pragmatic approach. Colleagues know him for creative, guerrilla-style problem solving that often delivers reliable results even when root causes are obscure. He focuses on durable automation over brittle patchwork, turning ad-hoc repairs into reproducible operations. Fluent in both low-level system work and automation, he excels at making unreliable equipment play nicely together.
