Top SchoolSmit Purohit is a software engineer based in New York with eight years of industry experience and a BS in Computer Engineering from UIUC. He currently builds production systems at Bloomberg and has internship experience delivering full-stack features and performance optimizations at DocuSign, including a C#-based JSON deflation algorithm that reduced GraphQL response sizes by about 30%. Comfortable across TypeScript, C#, ASP.NET Core, Unity, and GraphQL/Apollo, he has shipped user-facing features, back-end APIs, and immersive VR learning experiences for large enterprise audiences. Smit combines practical engineering with a focus on measurable impact—compressing payloads, improving API efficiency, and creating training tools used by thousands.
