Top SchoolSonia Zorba is a pragmatic full-stack developer with 12 years of experience building web applications and backend services across Java, Node.js, Spring Boot and modern front-end stacks. Based in Trieste, she has delivered solutions for research institutions and commercial platforms—designing APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and long-term archival services while contributing to projects like the Entando platform and the Fractal web UI. A Linux and free-software advocate, she pairs system administration skills (Ansible, LDAP, SAML, HAProxy) with secure development practices and a strong interest in web application security. She ranks in the top 1% on TryHackMe CTFs and has responsibly disclosed critical vulnerabilities in an open-source password manager, underscoring practical offensive security experience. Comfortable as an independent contractor (Italian P.IVA), she also contributes to widely used OSS components such as the bootstrap-slider library, improving frontend responsiveness and UX under real-world constraints.
