Summary
👤
SeniorSonny Garcia is a seasoned software engineer with 15 years building cloud-native infrastructure and developer-facing platforms, currently shaping AI-driven shopping experiences at Daydream. He blends deep DevOps expertise—Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Chef and infrastructure automation—with hands-on language skills in Ruby, Python and Go, cultivated at startups and enterprise firms like Domino Data Lab and Bridgewater Associates. His background in physics and mathematics informs a pragmatic, analytical approach to complex systems and high-throughput automation. Sonny has repeatedly led infrastructure modernization efforts, from CI/CD and container orchestration to large-scale microservice deployments. Based in Boulder, he pairs production-grade engineering with a consultant’s breadth from running his own firm, and outside work he’s a die-hard angler and outdoorsman, a hobby that fuels his focus and persistence.
