Top SchoolSovan Misra is a Principal Application Engineer with 11+ years of experience architecting cloud-native, cost-optimized solutions using AWS serverless technologies, Java/Spring Boot, and Python. He has driven multiple monolith-to-microservice transformations and cloud migrations for enterprise clients, notably designing a Guidewire-equivalent rating engine on an AWS serverless stack that reduced repetitive instances and costs. A hands-on technical lead and coach, he combines delivery-focused engineering with thought leadership in CI/CD, disaster recovery, and API-driven platforms. Based in Arlington Heights, IL, Sovan brings consulting discipline from time at Deloitte and product-focused execution at major financial firms, regularly translating complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready services. An uncommon strength is his blend of rating-domain expertise and deep serverless architecture experience, enabling both technical and business decision-making during large-scale transformations.
