Senior🎓
Top SchoolSteen Elvstrøm is an experienced application architect and developer with over 20 years in IT, specializing in Java SE/EE and complex system integrations for transport and sales platforms. He has led teams and shaped application architecture, interface specifications and requirement analysis—often in agile settings—and prefers compact teams where communication is most effective. Steen brings deep domain understanding to projects, applying Domain-Driven Design principles in large, mission-critical systems such as a nationwide public-transport ticketing solution. He combines hands-on development with stakeholder-facing analysis, ensuring priorities align with the system owner’s needs while actively sharing technical and business knowledge within teams. Based in Region Zealand, Denmark, he pairs an MSc in mechanical engineering background with long-term consultancy experience at Lund&Bendsen and DSB, giving him a pragmatic, systems-oriented perspective that often uncovers non-obvious domain constraints early in projects.
