Top SchoolStefano Butera is a senior engineering leader and Tribe Tech Lead with 14+ years of hands-on experience designing resilient, scalable systems and building high-performing remote teams. He has led architecture and delivery for large digital publishing platforms serving 150M monthly users, rebuilt legacy estates into microservices, and driven roll-outs across complex, multi-site infrastructures. Comfortable moving between code and strategy, he combines deep technical roots in software architecture with proven people leadership—recruiting, mentoring and creating inclusive team cultures. His background spans startups and consultancy work where he architected cross-platform integrations, enterprise search solutions and bespoke web systems. Stefano holds a management-level operations certificate and brings a practical bias for proof-of-concept validation before committing to large technical shifts. Based in Stony Stratford, he blends entrepreneurial architecture experience with enterprise-scale delivery expertise.
